Notable Moments
- 1970 - Graduates East Texas State with B.S. in Business.
- 1970 - 1980 - Works in the Dallas Trade Mart as a manufacturer's representative. In less than ten years Tom opens eight showrooms for the gifts and housewares market. It is during this time Tom discovers his talent for building businesses.
- 1980- Tom purchases his own distribution business. Over the next twenty years he invests time, money and effort into growing his business until he sells it in 1999, for a tad more than he bought it for, with the intention of retiring.
- July 1999 - December 1999 - The only time in Tom's life that he is (or ever will be) officially retired. The whole notion of retirement is entirely too foreign to Tom. In August of 1999 a friend talks to Tom about real estate . . .
- 2000 - 2004 - Tom lands in the real estate market with a splash, being named Rookie of the Year and receiving the Quality Service Award two of the three years he is with Century 21 NE Texas.
- 2004- Tom becomes a founding owner of Keller Williams Integrity LakesMinneapolis, building the company into a premier agency with its ownentrepreneurial team of Realtors.
- 2007 - Firmly believing in the Keller Williams brand, Tom successfully combines two Century 21 agencies into the newly-named Keller Williams Integrity NW.
- 2008- With two Keller Williams agencies in line, Tom is focusing on one part of real estate he loves - helping clients buy and sell homes.

- Although a happy Minnesotan, Tom is a lifelong Texan to the core. All Texans are very opinionated about what constitutes great BBQ. Since Tom was not satisfied with the options available in Minnesota, he started his own (Minnesota) Texas BBQ Restaurant in 1993. Baker's Ribs is located in Eden Prairie and you are invited to stop by!
- Tom is a dedicated resident of the Minneapolis Fern Hill area. To date, he has purchased and renovated seven mid-century modern ranch homes. He's working on a baker's dozen.
