When we first embarked in the homebuying experience, we had no idea what we were getting into. We went to Tom, to understand the process of buying a home, and a few months later we closed on a home that we love. The road that took us there had a lot of ups and downs, and Tom was always there to support, educate, and reassure us that things would work out for the best! Since we were first time homebuyers, Tom wanted to make sure that this experience would be a memorable one. He presented us with many homes in our price range, in the location we desired, and with features he knew were important to us. Tom, somehow, always found an opening in his schedule to show the homes that we wanted to see, and he would be there with research done, and a smile on his face! I had an excellent experience working with Tom Vance. With the housing market being the way it is, and my house being one of several in the neighborhood up for sale, he had an extremely difficult job to do. Tom was open and honest about the market conditions, always telling it like it is, which helped me to not set my expectations too high. Tom was diligent in doing open houses every weekend, working with fellow realtors to show the house, and always keeping me informed of any progress. I was very impressed with Tom's work ethic, knowledge, and how he wouldn't let up until the house was sold. He was instrumental in helping me understand and follow through with what I had to do from the inspection performed on my house, and was there with me right through the closing, continuing to make sure I was informed and comfortable with the sale.

Not only did he do an excellent job selling my house in only 66 days (very short time period considering conditions) and teaching me some things about the housing market, but I truly feel we became friends through this experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom, and in fact I have recommended Tom to friends, neighbors, and colleagues. He made my house selling experience enjoyable!
